Elegant double salt cellar or table condiment dish made by Wolfers Frères in Brussels, probably around the 1950s. Model possibly designed by Marcel Wolfers (or Charles Geets...).
In a neoclassical yet modernist style, the 925/1000 silver vermeil (gilded with fine gold) mount houses two polished green hardstone cups (aventurine), joined around a twisted central stem ending in a large matching sphere.
The small ball feet and the fineness of the frame give the whole piece a particularly refined character.
The piece bears the Wolfers Frères hallmark with a boar's head above the letter W, as well as the fineness A925, corresponding to sterling silver.
Good condition.
