Pair of table lamps, Hollywood Regency style, black lacquer and brass, circa 1970
These lamps, made in the glamorous chic style of the 1970s, recall the creations of designers such as Maison Matthias, Maison Dauphin, Roméo Réga, Maison Jansen and Jean-Claude Mahey, among others, although their creator is unknown.
They are in fair condition, with a few signs of wear and tear from time and use, as well as light surface scratches. They could do with a light polish, which is easy to do.
Sold without the lampshade, they would look great in a contemporary interior or a setting inspired by mid-twentieth century design.
