Rare and important Art Nouveau seal / stamp in pewter representing a couple of entwined nudes (The Kiss), naked man and naked woman forming a pommel.
High-quality sculpture in the spirit, quality and style of Auguste Rodin, Camille Claudel .... The owner's monogram "AJ" was undoubtedly an important person at the end of the 19th or the beginning of the 20th century.

Biography:
Omer Dierickx was born in Brussels in 1862 in Brussels.
Painter and sculptor, student of Jef Lambeaux and J. Portaels at the Academy of Brussels. Began at l'Essor in 1884, then became a professor at the Louvain Academy, then director of the Saint Gilles Academy. It will decorate the ceilings of the town hall of Brussels and Saint Gilles. Co-founder of the artistic circle "Pour l'Art" (1892) and of the Salon d'Art Idéaliste (1896). His sculptures are generally in the Symbolist Art Nouveau style.
`Works at the Louvain and Tournai Museums. Like Jef Lambeaux, he will edit his sculptures at "Les Ateliers Van Aerschodt B&L".
Illustrator, painter and sculptor, he died in Foret (Brussels) in 1939.
