Biography:
Francis Verlinden is a Belgian painter illustrator and draughtsman, he was born in Ixelles (Brussels) in 1935, graduated from the Decorative Arts at Saint-Luc in Brussels. He trained for 5 years with the painter Paul G. Klein in Damme, which probably gave him that intuition and power of line, a "brushstroke" that many envy him, the artist paints with extreme speed and a precise line. He had a predilection for figures of young women and indoor nudes, and painted erotic scenes, probably taken in cabarets. He settled in Knokke-Heist in 1964.
