Longwy faience is famous for the quality of its glazes. It worked for Primavera during the Art Deco period, the Art workshop of the department stores' "L e Printemps" or even for the "Bon Marché" (stamp Pomone) in the 1910s... During the Art Deco period, Longwy called on great artists to decorate its objects (Claude Levy, ....), and these pieces were highly sought after.
