Biography:

Hélène Fleury was born in 1959 in Canada. Drawing, sculpture and creations of all kinds have imposed themselves on her as a necessity.

She strongly believes in the importance of technical mastery in any artistic approach, allowing a true freedom of creation. It is largely for this reason that she decided to interrupt, in 1985, her studies in visual arts at Laval University to acquire, from accomplished professional artists, the techniques that were lacking at that time, and this, within the framework of a more conceptual teaching. Very versatile artist, she touched the street portrait and sculpture. She taught trompe-l'oeil techniques and did a lot of custom work. Fleury has also worked on coordinating and managing large murals. In addition, she founded her company Atelier Dufaux. Her many experiences in the artistic field led her to acquire different techniques and working methods to produce singular works. Known for his monumental trompe-l'oeil frescoes in Quebec City and Sherbrooke.
